Local celebrities helped make the launch of “Prosperity with Singing in the Spring” campaign at Quill City Mall Kuala Lumpur rather festive by performing and interacting with the crowd.
 
The campaign is linked to the mall’s collaboration with 8TV for the family-oriented Singing in the Spring comedy drama which will be aired during the Chinese New Year season.
 
Shoppers also had the opportunity to meet the drama’s local actors.
 
Among the celebrities present were Haoren, Orange Tan, Rickman Chia, Jordan Sen, Emily Chan, Loo Aye Keng, Eric Chen, Jacky Kam, Vicky Tan, Joey Leong, Gary Yap, Natalie Ng, Pauline Tan, Sherlyn Seo, Lynn Lim, Wilson Lee, Ziah Zhang, Wind Lee, Chrystina Ng, Thomas and Venice.
 
An interactive interview session with the cast also livened up the atmosphere.
 
In line with its theme, the mall’s Main Atrium has also been transformed into a scene from the Happiness Apartment as featured in the drama series.
 
There were traditional red lanterns as well as classic structures resembling apartments inspired from three different dialect groups – Cantonese, Hokkien and Hakka.
 
The lunar new year campaign was launched by Quill City Mall Kuala Lumpur centre manager Alan Cheong, Quill Group of Companies director Datuk Lee Fong Yong, Quill Group of Companies group executive director Datuk Michael Ong, Quill Group of Companies chief operating officer Ng Chee Keong, Quill Group of Companies group financial controller Shirley Leong and Quill City Mall marketing vice-president Joseph Teo.
 
The mall also invited 30 children from Rumah Victory to join in the festive celebration by gifting them ang pow and goodie bags.
 
Shoppers can take a stroll at the New Year’s Market located at the Main Atrium and East Concourse as well as the First Floor Foyer for lunar new year necessities.
 
The carnival games and Prosperity Playland is also open to customers, regardless of age.
 
The Greatest International Circus, taking place until March 31, is another attraction not to be missed.
 
For the young ones, there are exciting events to participate in including Spring Festival Kids Colouring Contest, Kids Cheongsam Costume and Talent Competition, Reunion Kids Drawing Competition, Spring Festival Couplets Competition and Reunion Kids Colouring Competition.
 
The mall has also partnered with AirAsia Big Loyalty to reward its customers in a contest called Win Your Flight for a Prosperous Chinese New Year.
 
From now until March 4, shoppers who spend a minimum RM38 in a single receipt get a chance to win a pair of return flights.
